Am I in love"? is the question, people always seem to ask
Looking for an answer, they set out on that task
Don't they understand - it's something they should know
Searching for the answer - is not the way to go
Don't they feel the emotion, that's deep inside their soul
That feeling that you get, that makes you lose control
Does their heart beat wildly, to show them that it's there
Does it run right thru their veins, are they really unaware
If you have to ask the question, then no, you are not there
Maybe it's infatuation or just that you really care
It's nothing you can look for, or search until you find
When you're in love you'll know it, in body, soul, and mind
